To kick-off to the Christmas Holiday Season,we will be holding a fine wine dinner in the heart of trendy Yorkville, at BLU Ristorante and Lounge, just west of Yonge,. Located in the heart of the amazing Yorkville district, at 17 Yorkville Avenue, BLU is a quaint townhouse with simple and cozy brickwork encased in minimalistic glass and orangey glowing bar lights and candles.
For those that are akin to the culinary circles of our fair city, look no further because BLU has taken on Head Chef Massimo Callovini and believe me he is worth everything he gets. Chef Massimo has created the menu, and John Macdonald has selected the wines to go with each course. There will be a cash bar prior to sitting down for dinner at 7:15. This way members and guests can arrive at their leisure.
First Course
Caprese Salad, Bufala Mozzarela, vine ripened tomates, basil and extra virgin olive oil
Second Course
Penne Gorgonzola, gorgonzola cheese, leeks, bourbon cream sauce and arugula.
Third Course
Grilled 10oz Beef Tenderloin, Madagascar Peppercorn Sauce,
mini white potatoes, butternut squash and Seasonal vegetables.
